Social Studies 5 themes of geography

The themes  of geography can help you analyze the world by helping you understand where things are and what people are doing. For example if  people were killing off certain species in Antarctica and we didn’t know who was killing them or what they are doing to the environment. Also if we couldn’t analyze the world with the five themes we wouldn’t be able to know what people do to each other to their environment and what the environment. The most difficult theme is movement I think this because I can’t really wrap my head around the concept of movement of ideas. This is because when I think of movement I think of cars and bikes but with this it can be many other things. For example telephone poles can move ideas and street signs. This is why I think movement is most difficult.

  2. I, too, think that movement is the hardest theme to understand. I agree because I think it's hard to understand movement ideas, It's like having something moving but you can't see it and it's not physically there it is ideas moving from mind to mind through different devices, posters and other communications. I don't understand this bloggers example used in his post because he says what if people were killing of species and we didn´t who they were and ended there. When the Blogger could have explained what the five themes have to do with this.

  3. Dillon, I agree that movement is difficult to understand, but after a little practice I understood it much more.
