Dillons basic map skills
I find it easy to find longitude and latitude for me. I think this because I consider myself good with numbers and I think I can find stuff fairly quickly. I think what I struggle with most is cardinal directions because if I am not in the part of a map facing directly at it. Basic map skills are important in life because it can help you down the road in situations if you're lost. It helps with your understanding because they can help with everything you need.

I have a different opinion with you about cardinal directions being the hardest and longitude and latitude being the easiest. For me it's the exact opposite! I believe that coordinates and longitude and latitude are the most difficult, because it requires extreme precision to get correct, and for cardinal directions, you can just take a quick look at the map and easily see the direction of something.
ReplyDeleteI am surprised by this because I think longitude and latitude are kind hard to tell apart but I am getting better at cardinal directions so I still kind of disagree with you.
DeleteYour post was good, it was the perfect size. I thought your location part was good. I liked how you explained why you are good with it. You might want to consider explaining why map skills are important, in more detail and include the other 4 skills.
